Capturing the tranquil aftermath of a midsummer coastal thunderstorm, After the Storm — Southampton, NY renders the dramatic atmosphere of Little Peconic Bay with exceptional luminous clarity. Joanne masterfully balances the moody, atmospheric light of the clearing sky with the tactile, wind-swept textures of the coastal dune grasses. An exquisite 2010 original studio landscape, this piece embodies the quiet elegance, movement, and light defining Long Island’s East End fine art tradition.
